The vehicle should be clean and cool.
There should be no unknown issues with related components prior to installation.
Always diagnose problems before jumping to conclusions. The tools needed are listed below. There is minor drilling/cutting (in plastic) required for installation. Thoroughly read the instructions and view the illustrations before beginning. First things first- take inventory. Make sure you have all the tools you need, and components that came with the kit you purchased. Last things last- if you need help with installation, feel free to contact us via email, at help@deyemeracing.com. Fully explain what you're doing, and your question. Include digital pictures if possible. These instructions are also available online, with images, at www.deyemeracing.com/Project_Speedy/PF1FTWBKTF_install.htm. |

Front Fascia Removal 1) Raise hood to access the upper area of the front fascia. Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove from each side of the upper cover as shown, four push-pins. Using a 10mm socket, remove from each side of the upper cover, one screw. Remove the upper cover and set aside with fasteners. 2) Remove four push pins from each side of the fascia upper lip, and then remove the two screws from each side. 3) Underneath front fascia, remove the (8) screws holding the fascia onto the closure panel. If applicable, remove the Deyeme Racing front license plate bracket and Mopar spoiler. In both front wheelweels, remove upper screw (10mm socket) and other three screws (8mm socket) attaching wheelwell panels to fascia. 4) If applicable, unplug AGS (Active Grille Shutters) and fog lamps from their respective sockets. 5) Grasp one of the upper corners of the fascia, and pull it firmly away from the body. Repeat for the other side. Grasp the end of the fascia behind the headlamp housing, and pull it firmly away from the body. Repeat for the other side. 6) Gently lift the fascia upper lip off the body, and remove it, and set it aside. |

Tow Bracket The tow bracket may be installed on either side, and it is recommended to install both. Choose which side to install on, and locate the lower load beam extension. 1) Remove the bottom two screws from the extension, and use them to attach the L-shaped adapter bracket, facing rearward. 2) Hold the closure panel against the adapter, and mark the front and inside lines. Remove the adapter. From the mark you made, measure up 20mm (3/4"), and outward 16mm (5/8") and mark. Measure outward another 40mm (1 9/16"), and mark for the second hole. 3) Using a 1" spade bit, drill holes for the screws to attach the tow bracket to its adapter. 4) Attach the tow bracket adapter to the load beam extension using the new 80mm screws. From underneath, hold the closure panel against the adapter to ensure the threaded holes are visible. Trim as needed. 5) If installing two tow brackets, repeat steps 1-4 for the other side. 6) Replace the fascia, referring to the Front Fascia Removal steps above. 7) Install the tow bracket on the adapter, using the supplied screws. |

Your installation is now complete! To care for this item, simply wash with soapy water and rinse. In brush finish, the aluminum alloy is highly corrosion-resistant, and will form a protective oxide coating. A coat of automotive wax will help the bracket maintain its luster. Alternately, you can polish, paint, or coat the bracket to match your personal taste. |
